how it started

MORE

I was 9 years old when I designed my first greeting card on a Commodore 64. Even at that age, I knew I was hooked on the combination of creativity and technology. It gave me my first taste of the magic of design–as wild as it sounds, it was the start of a lifelong passion!

1997

At 13 years old I designed menus for the restaurant where I was working. This was my first real design project, and I loved seeing something I created being used every day.

2001

At 15 years old I decked out my MySpace profile like a good millennial teenager–this is how I learned HTML and css. It was my first foray into web design, though at the time it just felt like fun (and truly, it still does).

2003

At 17, I won a local business planning competition and started a photography business. The business was a flop but the process of building it taught me so much about marketing and entrepreneurship. It was a huge learning experience and I knew after that I'd always be running my own business in some form.

2005

When I was 18 I had some serious health issues which later led to being diagnosed with MS. It changed the trajectory of my life and the decisions I would make at the time–I decided to pursue a career where I could work from home if I needed to (this was not the norm in 2006!!), it was also the beginning of changing my lifestyle and a growing interest in health & wellness.

2006

Graduated with a diploma in Business –Entrepreneurship at Fanshawe College, followed by a post-grad diploma in Web Development at Humber.

2006-2010

I spent 10+ years working in-house for various companies (a supplement brand, cake decorating school, wedding stationery studio and tech start-up to name a few), all while freelancing on the side. Working in different roles taught me adaptability and strengthened my design skills. Freelancing let me explore my own creative voice and build direct relationships with clients, paving the way for running my own business.

2010-2022

I moved from Toronto to Stratford, Ontario which I now call home.

2022

While I'm still working with many of my larger clients, I'm leaning into working with small businesses and entrepreneurs on their brand design and websites.

Today

I really love what I do and believe great design is all about the details. It’s not just about making things look good—it’s about creating something meaningful that connects with people and helps your business grow.

My process starts with getting to know your story, your goals, and your vision. From there, I blend creativity with strategy to craft designs that not only look amazing but will work hard for your business. Every project is approached with care, collaboration, and attention to detail to ensure the end result feels authentic and impactful. At the heart of it all, my goal is to help you create something you’re proud of—something that stands out and moves your business forward.

My Approach: Thoughtful, Creative, and Purposeful
